Andrea Stewart, APRN and Diane Palmer, RN completed training to prepare for an upcoming clinical research study for patients with MS. With this training they will be able to assess the efficacy of an anti spastic study medication in patients experiencing spasticity with MS. Spasticity has to do with stiffness and involuntary muscle spasms. With spasticity many medications are taken several times a day. A new clinical trial with once a day dosing for patients with MS is planned to start in May. This can offer an opportunity for patients to have more control of there time instead of having to maintain control of schedule dosing times throughout the day. Dr. Radin of Neurological Group, PC will be conducting this clinical trial through CCR in New London, CT.
