Conducting clinical research studies with
Call to participate

Join Us!

The unofficial start to summer in the region, Memorial Day weekend, allowed us to enjoy some fantastic and much needed warmth and sunshine.  Summertime in Southeastern Connecticut is full of activities, and as we continue with our spring happenings, we invite you to join us!

MaryLou Gannotti who handles outreach for our site will be visiting the PACE Adult Day Center on Union Street in Westerly the afternoon of Wednesday, June 11th to discuss Alzheimer’s research at the monthly support group meeting of caregivers.

On Wednesday, June 12, Dr. Robert M. Spitz will be the featured speaker at monthly meeting of the Southeast Senior Network. Dr. Spitz will talk about the importance of clinical research studies. The event will be held at Groton Regency on Poquonnock Road in Groton.

Our commitment to Alzheimer’s early detection will continue on Tuesday, June 18th from 1-3pm.  Coastal Connecticut Research, in collaboration with the New England Cognitive Center on Ocean Avenue in New London, will be offering no cost memory testing with dementia care specialist Diane Palmer, RN.  To date, our site has conducted over 100 no cost memory screenings.  That week marks the summer solstice and the “longest day” to raise Alzheimer’s Awareness.
