Spring Happenings

Our New England spring was off to a slow start in April and early May with some less than stellar weather – quite a bit of rain and colder than normal temperatures – but now the spring landscape has us thinking about summer and warmer weather endeavors. June is around the corner and is shaping up to be a busy month at Coastal Connecticut Research.

On June 12 our medical director Dr. Robert Spitz will discuss the important role volunteers play in clinical research at the monthly meeting of the Southeast Senior Network to be held at Groton Regency on Poquonnock Road in Groton.  The event kicks off with networking at 8am followed by Dr. Spitz speaking to the group.  We hope to see you there!

Plans are also underway to partner with the New England Cognitive Center to conduct no cost memory screenings in late June to mark the “longest day” of the year.  We’re finalizing our date right now and will send an eblast once confirmed.  Join our email newsletter if you have not yet – the link is available on this website.

In between these events we’ll be present at a variety of community meetings and look forward to meeting you in our travels!  If you are curious about research you can always call our site at (860)443-4567 or email  to learn more.
Thank you!
