Conducting clinical research studies with
Call to participate

What’s New at CCRstudies

What’s new at Coastal Connecticut Research?  We’ve been busy this spring!  (Although with all the rain in April and early May, we’re kind of still waiting for that lovely spring weather!)

We visited the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center in late April where Dr. Robert M. Spitz discussed the important role women play in healthcare research.   Special thanks to those who attended and asked questions regarding topics ranging from the changes in birth control over the past 30 years and physiological changes that occur with menopause. We also participated in the Mind, Body and Soul Event at Genesis Rehabilitation in Groton, better known as the Groton Regency.  We have a variety of events scheduled in May.  We’ll be visiting the MS Dream Center of Rhode Island on May 7th, we’re conducting a Mobile Memory Clinic at the Public Library of New London from 1-3pm on May 8th and we’ll be attending the Southeast Senior Network and M Team May meetings.  In June Dr. Robert Spitz will be addressing the Southeast Senior Network at their monthly meeting where he will introduce those in attendance to clinical research and the role of the volunteer.

We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with people from the community.  If you are interested in an education presentation or Mobile Memory Clinic, contact MaryLou Gannotti at 860-443-4567 or email
