Painful Periods Research Study in New London, CT

If you or someone you know has painful cramps from your period, you may be interested in learning more about a study taking place in New London, CT. Local doctors are evaluating an investigational botanical product that may help make periods less painful.
To participate one must:

Be a woman between the ages of 18 and 35

Have experienced painful menstrual cramps for at least the last 3 consecutive menstrual cycles

Be healthy with regular menstrual cycles

Not have used no contraceptive injection, implant or IUD within the past 6 months
Painful cramping from periods is a real medical condition called dysmenorrhea. Women have been suffering from dsymenorrhea throughout history.
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the effects of the investigational botanical product, known as KYG0395, in women between the ages of 13-35 years with severe menstrual cramps (or primary dysmenorrhea), KYG0395 is a botanical product consisting of powders of five raw botanical materials.
Participants will receive study-related procedures at no cost. Reimbursement for time and travel may also be provided up to $400 and $80 in gift cards.
