CCRstudies Community Events

It’s going to be a busy spring season for CCRstudies.   We will be on the move in the coming weeks reaching out to members of the community.

On Tuesday, May 18th, CCRstudies has been invited to participate the Sound Community Services Annual Wellness Fair  from 3:00p.m. -7:00p.m.  This is a free event sponsored by Sound Community Services, 21 Montauk Avenue in New London,  for their staff and clients.  We will be providing information regarding our current clinical research trials. In addition, Qualified Dementia Care Specialist and CCRstudies Site Administrator Diane Palmer, RN, will be providing no cost memory screenings (by appointment) to those in attendance.  Booths and activities will also include stress management, financial management, fitness demonstrations, community resources, yoga & massage, a mocktail social hour, and more. We look forward to meeting people at this event!

On May 24th MaryLou Gannotti, who specializes in outreach for CCRstudies, will be conducting a presentation on Overactive Bladder (OAB) at Hamilton Park Apartments in Norwich. Residents are encouraged to attend to learn more about the condition of Overactive Bladder.  We will share information on our currently enrolling OAB study in addition to other research trials underway.  This will be our second presentation at Hamilton Park and we are eager to return to greet residents and share information.

If you wish to learn more about CCRstudies and our participation in community events and outreach, contact MaryLou Gannotti at (860)443-4567 or email
